It started in France, before I even had words for it. Competing in rhythmic gymnastics and cheerleading at a young age brought me to a yoga mat with my mom and godfather at age ten — my first real lesson in what it means to move with intention. Then came high school, and with it five winters racing on two USSA ski teams. Four months, six days a week on snow every year. That's where I learned what daily discipline actually feels like.
Running came almost by accident. Senior year of high school, my dad woke up one day and decided he was going to run a marathon. I thought that sounded like a great idea, so I joined him. At 18, I crossed my first marathon finish line — alongside my dad. That race changed something in me. Not because I finished. But because of who I finished with, and what we had built together on the way there. We've run four more since.
After that came triathlons — Sprint, then Olympic, then a Half Ironman. A 300-hour yoga teacher training. More races, more cities, more finish lines. And through every single phase, two things stayed constant: discipline and the people around me. Not just endurance athletes — all kinds of movers. Friends who came on walks during injury recovery. People who joined a yoga class just to try it. Everyone moving in whatever way they could.
Not just the endurance athletes. Everyone. The friend trying to walk more. The colleague who wants to finally run a 5K without stopping. The person who just wants a structure that sticks. The triathlete ready to level up. I kept looking for that place — one platform where every kind of mover belonged — and it didn't exist the way I imagined it.
So I built Strideform. A training platform where the structure does the work, and you just have to show up. Programs for every level, every goal, every kind of movement. Built from real miles, real races, and a deep belief that discipline — not motivation — is what actually changes things.
